Dustin von Diebach is a gorgeous 1-2 year old Shepherd mix. This handsome guy with the longer light-colored coat is ready to walk side-by-side with his forever human on walks around town, with other dogs and exploring. He’s mid-energy with an overall calmer demeanor at the rescue while he hangs out by your side, but also has a more outgoing side too. Dustin loves to lean into his human while he’s being petted and enjoys getting attention. He's been fine meeting new people at the rescue, but might become protective of his people once in a home, so will do best in a household without a lot of visitors or where that can be managed. He’s a star pupil, housebroken, and  already knows his commands to sit, lie down, give paw, and he takes treats gently from your hand. He does well in play groups, as he doesn’t mind other dogs around. He tends to chase cats, so if you’re a cat-free home, Dustin would love to be a part of your life!
